Sunrise Field Workshop
One morning at Sparks Lake, Oregon. Six photographers, one instructor, and a thermos of good coffee.
The morning
We meet at the Sparks Lake trailhead 45 minutes before sunrise. We walk ten minutes to the shore, set up together, and photograph the first light on South Sister.
After sunrise we work through compositions along the lava flows. Then we finish with a short review of your best frames over breakfast in Bend.
- About four hours, easy walking
- Any camera with manual exposure works
